Happy SITS Day!
Happy Monday! If you’re stopping by from SITS…thank you for stopping by! If you’re wondering, “What in the world is SITS,” it stands for The Secret is in the Sauce…and basically, it’s a really awesome blogging community! I’ve met some pretty fabulous bloggers through their chats, challenges and daily-featured blogger
Since some of you are new to my blog, I thought I would introduce myself to you and give you a little tour around my little space on the Internet! And if you’ve been a reader for a while, here’s your chance to find out a little bit more about me!
If you like giveaways, start with my current giveaway
If you are a blogger, start with this great post about an upcoming Blog Staycation I’m co-hosting
If you like to travel, start with the first post of my recent My Favorite U.S. Cities series
If you want to know more about what I do for my “day job,” start with this post about how retired before I turned 30 and what I’ve been doing since then…hint, it’s not sitting around and eating bon bons!
If you like cupcakes, check out my many cupcake adventures
If you like fitness, check out my current training goals
If you want to give back, check out a cause that is close to my heart
And here are just a few random things you should know about me…
I like pop music like a I’m 13-year-old girl. One Direction… I can sing all of the words to Story of my Life. I’m not proud of this, but it is what it is!
I have a really eclectic taste in music – If you looked on my current playlist you’d find Pitbull, One Direction, Luke Bryant, Sam Smith, Emeli Sande, The Piano Guys and more
I am SUPER particular about my bananas. Like there is approximately a 36-hour window in which I like eating bananas. No need to make fun of me for this one, my family already does!
I am borderline OCD when it comes to organization. I don’t like things out of place.
I love to plan parties and organize events. The OCD comes in handy with this one.
I find it incredibly relaxing to curl my hair. If I’m really stressed you’ll know because my entire head of hair will be incredibly curly…and my hair is naturally stick straight!
Still want to know more? Check out my About Me page and some fun facts I shared last week on the blog!
If you are new to my blog, thanks for stopping by…I’ll hope you’ll back and I’d love to connect with you on social media!
If you are a regular reader, you are why I blog so thank you for stopping by!
And since I shared about me, I’d love to learn something about you so comment below with something interesting about you!

My hair is naturally stick straight as well. I’ve pretty much spent my life trying to get big “80s” hair, and it just never happens. Sigh…. but I love my blow dryer. If I can’t fluff with the dryer, I don’t feel “finished.”

Happy Sits Day! I’m the opposite…when I’m feeling peaceful I’ll curl my hair when I’m stressed, it’s pony tail city.

I am SO with you on the banana window of eatability. My family makes fun of me, too.

I love the name of your blog, and this was a wonderfully informative post of what it is all about.
Bananas rarely get peeled and eaten by anyone in my house – only when they are yellow enough but have no spots! I have a few good recipes for using them up (a new one will be posted on my blog in the next week or two). They make wonderful frozen ice-cream without any other ingredients! Happy SITS Day!

I’ll have to check out those recipes because I often end up with uneaten bananas around here!
