Holiday Bucket List 2015
We’re back for another fabulous year of The 12 Days of Blogmas…and this year it’s bigger than ever! Here at Girl on the Move you’ll mostly see posts about travel, fitness, blogging, and cupcakes…but once a year I ask that my amazing readers (that is YOU!) indulge my love of all things Christmas with this series! You’ll definitely see travel and fitness themes in the posts, but you’ll also see some amazing Christmas-ness.
We’re kicking off the series with a look at our Holiday Bucket Lists! This year is extra special for our family because it is my brother-in-law’s first holiday season in the United States, so we are excited to share all of our Christmas traditions with him…I’m pretty sure there actually aren’t enough days in December to do everything on our list so we’ll be focusing on our favorites. Here’s a look at our holiday bucket list, and hopefully it will give you ideas of what you can do with your family during the holiday season!
I’d love to hear in the comments below, what’s on your holiday bucket list this year? What should I add to my list?
Also, if you love Christmas as much as I do, you should check out all of the other Christmas posts from these other fabulous bloggers below…
Favorite Things Party? I love the sounds of that! Excellent list and thank you for hosting this 12 Days of Christmas!
Love your list. I’ve already started watching holiday movies and baking. Plus we kicked off our season with seeing the Nutcracker. Happy Holidays!

We just went to the Christmas lighting in our town last night and now I it really feels like the holidays!
I have to keep reading because now I really need to know what a Tim Tam Slam is.
I’ll definitely be doing a scope and a post in the future (on the Christmas traditions day!) about Tim Tam Slams…since this is such a popular question!!!
I love holiday bucket lists!! We are so many must haves.. our favorite is the Fort Lauderdale boat show.. it is an awesome event!
That sounds like an amazing event! One of our favorite events is also on the water…and we have lots of options here at the beaches in SoCal!
Fantastic post. I love the holidays and all things Christmas.
I have finished shopping and I will start baking this week. I love your list.
Never heard of Tim Tams! We make each other gifts for Yule each year 🙂
I’ll definitely be doing a scope and a post in the future (on the Christmas traditions day!) about Tim Tam Slams…what a great tradition for Yule!
I’m so curious about the Tim Tam Slam! Never heard of it!
I’ll definitely be doing a scope and a post in the future (on the Christmas traditions day!) about Tim Tam Slams…because this is quite the popular question!
I’d like to know more about the Tim Tam Slams–I’m guessing it has something to do with the British cookie of the same name? Also, the lights tour with cocoa sounds really fun. Might have to make up a could of travel mugs for when we go out to see the local light show!
I’ll definitely be doing a scope and a post in the future (on the Christmas traditions day!) about Tim Tam Slams…because this seems to be a popular question!

Ana De- Jesus
I like the idea of creating a Christmas bucket list I would like to do something like that.
I love Christmas and this year I hope to make it to see our annual light show. You’ve given me some ideas to add to my bucket list. Thanks!
I can’t wait to take a Christmas lights tour! Hopefully next weekend!
Deb- It's me, debcb!
So fun! On our list? Going to So You Think you can Dance live. It was our tradition last year and we’ll do it again!
We’re going to Dancing with the Stars Tour but SYTYCD would also be awesome! We actually went to a taping of one episode this past summer!
Oh my goodness, I forgot all about tim-tam slams!!! I am going to have to get my mum to send some over now, it won’t be christmas without them 🙂 Love this list, so fun!
I’m so glad someone else knows what I’m talking about…because most people don’t!!

Super cute idea to use the ornaments for the individual items!!!! Love it!
There are a lot of bucket lists here. I have one too, its in my head lol.
What an awesome list! Can I be a dork? What in the world are Tim Tam Slams???
You’re not a dork at all…that has been the #1 question on this post in the comments…so I’ll be scoping about it soon!
There’s nothing better than watching Christmas movies with my little one. I love it. I let her watch way more movies than I should, but it’s the holidays. It doesnt matter. Lol. I was thinking how doing a cute Polar Express type thing with hot chocolate and a ride to see all the lights.
There is just something about this time of year that it’s okay to break some of the rules…like how many movies you can watch in a week!
I have ice skating on my list as well! This year I hope to actually get Christmas cards out as it’s been a couple of years.
I need to get Christmas cards out this year as well! I have the first 30 or so finished and now just need to tackle the rest of the list!
Love this! It looks like your going to have a great December!! Kudos to you!
I love your bucket list! I hope you’re able to complete it!!!!
This is a great bucket list! The only thing I have to add to ours is going on the Polar Express with the Boy Scouts.
I’ve always wanted to do some type of Polar Express trip!
I’m curious about a ‘Tim Tam Slam’ – what is that? On my list, one of my priorities is to make a new wreath for my front door.
This is definitely the number one question about this post lol! I’ll be doing a Periscope about them on Sunday and will post about them later in the series 🙂
Pam @ Hodge Podge Moments
