Links I’m Loving #14
Even though the Olympics have wrapped up, I wanted to show the last of my Olympic love.
#1 – I love that David Wise doesn’t give in to the life he is supposed to have because he is a skier, but that he owns who he is!
And the now countdown is on for Rio 2016!
On to a few other links I’m loving right now…
#2 – I love the real, honest conversation happening over at Momastery. I’m reading a great book right now and one of the first things I highlighted as I was reading was, “Pretending was safer than honesty and vulnerability.” (Emotionally Healthy Spirituality by Peter Scazzero) I think it can be so easy to hide the things that scare us, the things we don’t want others to know, the things that make us look and feel broken, but the truth is that when we are honest, we are set free.
#3 – If you’re anything like me, you probably haven’t seen all of the films on the Best Picture nominations list this year. So here’s a recap in under four minutes…
#4 – Yesterday I officially launched my Kickstarter project to write a book about what makes each MLB ballpark unique…excited about the possibility of this all coming together!
