Philadelphia Art Museum and more!
Continuing with some of my favorite spots in Philadelphia I thought I would share some great sights in the Philadelphia Art Museum area…
The Parkway – Not only is the Parkway the home of the annual 4th of July celebration (a BIG deal in Philadelphia) but it is also the path from the Art Museum to City Hall and it is lined with flags from countries all around the world.
Philadelphia Art Museum – In my opinion the Art Museum is one of the most peaceful places in the city to spend a Sunday afternoon, leisurely walking through the galleries. And this gives you the perfect opportunity to create your very own Rocky moment!
Kelly Drive – And this is hands down my favorite place to go running in the city! Whether you are looking to go just a couple of miles (an out and back by Boathouse Row), or to cover 8 miles (known as “the Loop”) Kelly Drive’s got you covered…I’ve ran a few hundred miles here during the last seven years and loved every mile of it!
