The Ranch at Laguna Beach

WheIf you’ve found yourself doing a Google search for a Laguna Beach hotel you’ve probably come across The Ranch at Laguna Beach.  Let me give you a travel tip…GO!  The Ranch is nestled into a canyon in Laguna Beach which gives it great views.  Also, being a boutique hotel, it fits right in with the artist/creative culture of Laguna Beach.  I won a one-night stay at The Ranch and just absolutely loved my entire stay!  I can’t wait to head back for another staycation!  If you’re looking for a warm-weather winter getaway or a beach getaway, I’d highly recommend The Ranch.

Their attention to detail, the views, the food, and the golf access are just some of the things that make The Ranch a fabulous Laguna Beach hotel.  Upon arrival we discovered a beautiful tray of cupcakes waiting for us in the dining room of our room.  Here’s the deal…any hotel that greets me with cupcakes is a winning hotel in my book!  Our room overlooked the golf course and while I don’t golf (at least not since my high school physical education class lol!) it is incredibly relaxing to be able to relax on the patio next to the course.

Food at The Ranch

We had dinner on the Harvest Patio overlooking the golf course.  These carnitas nachos were hands down one of the best plates of nachos I’ve ever had!  When you combine the decor with the serving ware (drinks in mason jars!!!), the Harvest Patio had a gorgeous rustic feel to it coupled with a creative menu that left us wanting to order way more than we could eat.  We enjoyed champagne over the outdoor fire pits and just enjoyed a relaxing evening overlooking the golf course.

For me I would return to the Ranch because of their attention to detail…what makes you want to make a return trip to a hotel?
