Welcome to Day Twenty-Eight of the Write 31 challenge! If this is your first time stopping by, head over to Day One to get started from the beginning, and now on to Day Twenty-Eight. I’m really excited to introduce you to Shay today as she shares with you some fabulous social media resources!
Hello, Girl on the Move blog readers! My name is Shay Paulson, and I am so thrilled to share a roundup of links that I’ve found really helpful as a social media manager for my company,
Merit Media. I offer my clients a wide-range of services and would love to share some resources with you.
Andrew Macarthy’s book 500 Social Media Tips
Andrew offers so many great tips and tricks, and the bonus is that it’s updated each month. If you sign up for his emails (which are helpful anyways), he will let you know when a new update has been made, with simple instructions on how to get the latest Kindle edition. (http://andrewmacarthy.com)
Social Media Manager School
This site has content that’s full of great ideas and actionable items. Even if you don’t start out by purchasing access to the class, I would highly recommend poking around on the website! Here’s
more information from one of the founders, Andrea Vahl.
How to Process Multiple Images for the Web, from Elise Blaha.
I pretty much love everything Elise writes, and this is no exception. Her content is photo-heavy, which is great for visual people.
Here’s a tutorial on how to process and resize multiple photos at one time in Photoshop.
Pinterest Boards
I’ve used Pinterest since it was an “invitation only” type of thing, but just recently I’ve started a board that is full of social media goodness. The best thing about that, is that because I’ve started pinning things like that, Pinterest’s algorithms know that I’m looking for other items that are similar. I’d love for you to follow my “
PR Pinterest Board” and see if there are things that you might also find helpful. The best part? I’ve already curated it for you!
More Inspiration
These people write awesome, relevant content about social media, blogging, writing in general, and so much more. They bring quite a lot of experience to the table, and I would encourage you to check them out.
Thanks to Julie for letting me pop in today! I’d love to connect, so please don’t hesitate to reach out!
Thank you Shay for stopping by today!
