Create a Social Media plan #write31days #blogging
When it comes to social media, I don’t think anyone sets out to fail.  Whether you are a blogger, direct sales consultant, or just looking to connect with other people who have similar interests to you, we all want to be successful on social media.  But as the wise Benjamin Franklin said, “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail!”

Fail to Plan Ben Franklin #quote #socialmedia
I imagine if everyone of us sat down and thought about the future, we would all have goals of where to want to be in three months, one-year, five-years. But the reality is, “A goal without a plan is just a wish” – Antoine de Saint-Exupery.

There are hundreds more quotes I can share with you about why planning is incredibly beneficial, but I’ll spare you the 1000+ word post and instead let you browse Pinterest if you’re not convinced about why you should create a plan 😉

And now that you’re convinced that planning is better than not planning, let’s take a look at why you need a plan specifically for social media…

-When Americans get on the Internet, they spend more time on social media than anywhere else…including email! (Business Insider)

-98% of 18-24-year-olds already use social media and the average person spends more than 15 hours a month on Facebook (Statistic Brain)

The bottom line is people are very active on social media and if you want people to see your blog, product, business, brand, etc…you need to be sharing it on social media. But if you don’t have a social media plan you’re going to end up wasting countless hours ineffectively sharing. Let’s work together to build a social media plan so you can effectively use your social media time, increase engagement, and turn your social media time into dollars!

I’d also love to have you share this series with your friends and comment below to let me know what your social media plan is for…a blog, direct-sales business, brick-and-mortar business, or something else?
